Besides the standard code set that comes with PedCath, several alternate code sets are available. Or we can work with you to develop your own code set at an additional cost. It is quick and easy to select the appropriate codes - by name, number, category - even by partial name. For example, entering stra, the selection box will list all diagnoses that contain the letters “stra” in order, such as “00105. Stradling mitral valve,” and “00106. Stradling tricuspid valve.” You can select diagnosis codes by double clicking or highlighting and pressing the Add button.

To add a patient billing code, you may either browse through the All Codes box or use a search facility.

Billing codes are presented for Invasive Cardiology and Diagnostic Codes. Invasive Cardiology codes are listed under General Catheterizations, Angiography, Therapeutic Catheterizations, and Miscellaneous. The Diagnostic Codes are listed under Arrhythmias, Acquired Heart Disease, Congenital Heart Disease, and Miscellaneous.
